Information of Zhubei :
Zhubei City (Chinese: 竹北市) is a county-controlled city and the county seat of Hsinchu County, Taiwan. Over the recent years, Zhubei has become a popular city for migration both because of its proximity to Hsinchu City and the Hsinchu Science and Technology Park, and because the Hsinchu County
government has focused most of its infrastructure here. Zhubei has been one of the fastest growing cities in Taiwan over the past decades, almost doubling its population since 2001 to over 170,000 in 2015. Based on current trends, the population should be around 175,000 by 2016.
Located in northwest Hsinchu, Chungshan FreeWay, Shibin Highway and Provincial Highway 1 provide convenient transportation to the city. It is the most important gate of the Hsinchu area. The county government and urban service center are located in the city. After the completion of the Liujia HSR Station area, Hsinchu County Government Phase II, and the NTUT Zhubei Campus projects, the formation of the central-island industrial development will further prosper Zhubei City. The fusion of all ethnic groups is another feature in Zhubei. Different ethnic groups living in the city will respect each other, and learn the mother tongue of others.
Moreover, close cooperation in local construction and development will make Zhubei the leading city of the future development in Hsinchu County.
